NaNoWriMo follow up. (What goals were accomplished)

A couple weeks ago we talked about National Novel Writing Month. There was an annual challenge for writers to write a 50,000 word novel in the month of November. People who read my other post already know, but my goal for November was to finished a manuscript I was working on.

I am pleased to announce that my first draft for a future book is complete!

But, on top of finishing that manuscript, I got Finding Doom published in paperback format! I was so ecstatic about it last night it took me forever to fall asleep. I woke up this morning feeling like all was right with the world.

It has been my dream for a long time to publish this book. Even after it was published as an eBook, I knew my work wasn’t finished. Now that I can actually hold my book in hand, all the work (and tears) put into it feel worth it. It feels real now.

One of the best feelings in the world is when you accomplish your big goals.

I hope you reached your goals for NaNoWriMo. If you didn’t, don’t beat yourself up about it, just set a new goal date and keep persevering. Goals take time to reach, you just have to have the patience and motivation to carry yourself all the way.

Let me know how your NaNoWriMo writing went or what goals you have in mind. Remember, it’s always good to have others who support you in reaching your dreams. If you don’t have that person or group in your life, keep searching, make connections, and learn to find motivation in everything else around you. It’s my goal to be that support for all writers.

I wish you the best of luck in all your writing endeavors and everything else!

If you enjoyed Finding Doom, leave a review about it on Amazon or comment on Instagram. I appreciate the support and would love to hear from you.
